News Releases

Hello:

Included in this section are news items that are associated with our products. Hope you find them interesting.

Jerry Nelson

MAY 1-2, 2004: First place team scale at 2004 49'er Scalemaster Qualifier at Woodland, California. Fleet Biplane built by Dick Heining and flown by Gary Parker. 27% scale powered with a Sidel 7 cylinder radial. Used NELSON streamline flying wires and is covered with NELSON Hobby Paint.  This model is a prototype of a future Proctor kit. The production version will be slightly less than 25% scale and will be designed around the OS and Saito 5 cylinder radial engines. Kit will feature scale factory asembled landing gear and scale type construction.

JUNE 7, 2004: Received an order today from a major USA military RPV manufacture for our SW200FT Adjustable Spline Servo Wheels and SSA125 Servo Arms. These items will be used in a 100+ MPH, 100+ pound, 25 horsepower aerial surveillance remote pilotless vehicle (RPV). The company was having wear problems with the metal output arms at the attachment to the metal spline of the servos. This aircraft looks like a simple RC trainer, only much larger, and takes off and lands like a regular RC model.
