Hello:
This
portion of our web site is under development. This is a collection of
photos of models that have used some of our products. If you have an
interesting model that used some of our products send or email me a
photo and I will put it into the Photo Gallery.
Jerry
Nelson

A
fine example of a Sig Mfg. 1/4 scale clipped wing Cub built
by Bill Johnson, a long time scale modeler from Florida and
formerly lived in the Chicago area. Powered with an OS160 4-stroke
twin. Comment from Bill says; "The ability to paint my
models without the need of a spray gun really simplifies the
painting of my scale models. I can now paint my models without
smelling up the whole house." Model covered with Coverite.
Painted with NELSON Hobby Paint using a foam brush.
Model was flown actively for several years. Bill (BJ) was a
very close friend of mine. He passed away in January 2004. He
will be missed by all who knew him. (Bill Johnson Photo) |

First
flight photo of a Loughead F-1 in 1/4 scale. Wingspan is 18
1/2 feet and weighs 62 pounds. Perhaps this may be the largest
electric powered R/C aircraft built by modelers. Model was designed
by Gerald Livers and built by a group of modelers in Santa Barbara,
California for the city Maritime Museum. The Loughead company
later on became Lockheed. 252 Kevlar cables with 252 turnbuckles
used in the structure. The model is electric powered with two
Astroflight G-90 motors with a 2.75:1 gear ratio with 26x14
props. 80 NiMH sub C cells are used. Flight time is about 5
minutes. Model is covered with NELSON Antique ColorFAB. |

Beechcraft
T-34 from a Top Flite kit built by Tom Densmore. Painted
with NELSON Hobby paint. Insignias also were painted.
Model is highly detailed as shown in the other photos. (Tom
