Model Drawings

February 23, 2009

Comments by Jerry Nelson

(This page under development)

Plans for many of my designs will be offered. I have drawings going back into the 50's. Rudder only, reed radio, and early proportional aerobatic plans are available. Have several scale projects as well.

There are some drawings of aircraft that I never built. Some drawings are almost finished. Good enough for me to build, but some of the deatils were never drawn. Just never got around to building these aircraft. Never offered the plans for them, but I have some friends suggest that I should have them available as well. As long as the buyer knows that the models were never built or flown, then it is up to buyer to consider building one of these aircraft.

The following is a list of plans of aircraft that I have designed.over the years and will be available for sale. Not certain when the plans will be ready, I do have the orignal drawings and just need to get a source for getting blueprints made.

Vintage R/C aircraft

Modified Live Wire Cruiser: (1956) Rudder only.I won Rudder Only Nats in 1956 with this model. Was also my first R/C contest. Later flew this design with reed radio for just Rudder only and throttle control.

Resonator: Rudder only. Did well in contests in the West Coast.

Pegasus: (7/30/58) Aerobatic, Reed Radio, K&B 35

Pegasus Model E: (1/27/59) Aerobatic, Reed Radio. K&B45

Pegasus Model F: (1960) Aerobatic, Reed Radio, K&B 45

Wee Pegasus:.Rudder only. 020 cox powered

Qualfier: Aerobatic, Reed Radio, Lee 45 (low wing Pegasus)

Nitro: Aerobatic, Reed Radio.

Radiant: Aerobatic, Trike Gear, Reed Radio. Lee 45 (I think I have the plans                  but cannot find them at this time. My idea of a Stormer type                  shoulder wing.)

Sultan: Aerobatic, Reed Radio, Veco 45

Classic Aircraft

Safari: Aerobatic, Orbit Analog Proportioanl, ST56

Jetfire: Aerobatic, Orbit Analog Proportional, ST56

Roman: Aerobatic, Oribit Analog Proportional, Lee 45

Note: I think I have the plans for these three aircraft, but at this time cannot find them.
