Due a lack of sales of our RC Linkage to hobby dealers, we are discontinuing the RCL linkage (formerly Rocket City) product line. Some items are still left in inventory. Offered is a large selection of reasonably priced control linkage products originally marketed by Rocket City Specialties Company. NELSON Hobby now offers these high quality, made in the USA, products under our name of NELSON R/C Linkage.
These items are supplied with all necessary fasteners and special hardware items as required.
There are six groups of products in this series. Control horns and steering arms, Swivel Link control horns, Servo Arms, Rod Chucks, and Ball Links. In these groups are several different variations that offer different options to fit most any control linkage applications. Many of these items can be interfaced with our NELSON Heavy Duty Servo Arms, Ball Bearing Bellcranks, Rudder Control Horns, and aluminum push rods.

CONTROL HORNS
Nylon control horns are available in three sizes for use with 60 powered aircraft and smaller.

| STEERING ARMS A standard and flexible steering arm are available for use with nose gear/tail wheel arm and other applications. A heavy duty brass bushing is molded into the steering arm which makes the unit very strong. The flexible arm reduces the shock load to the servo. |

ITEM NO. RCL10 & RCL10A SHOCK ABSORBING STEERING ARM. SWIVEL LINK CONTROL HORNS
The swivels and clevises are high strength nylon. The clevises have short throats and require a good bit of force to spread them open. All swivels are tapped out to fit their horn screw. The “A” nuts are made with a filled nylon which is very hard and a long threaded brass bushing is molded in it. The “A” nut will make the horn screw very ridged to prevent flutter in the control surfaces.
The horn screws are fairly easy to install. You must mount the RCL69 series horns on a 1/16” or thicker hardwood insert attached both sides to the control surface. The RCL69 and RCL69B units are usually mounted below the ailerons which will give differential control travel. Items RCL69A, 69C, and 69E are often used for elevator and rudder control because they often eliminate differential movement.
What size to use is difficult to determine. Bigger is always better. Suggest that models over 15 pounds use 4-40 push rods and 6-40 horn screws. Over 20 pounds use 4-40 push rods and 8-32 horn screws. Over 25 pounds use the heavy duty RCL69D and the RCL70 and RCL71 control horns.

ROTOR LINKS
Rotor links allow for fine adjustments in control linkage. The Rotor Link attaches to the servo arm, bellcank, or control horn just like a Ball Link. A 3/32" or 1/8" diameter push rod in inserted into the aluminum shank and is firmly held in place with two 5-40 set screws. Two filed notches are made in the ends of the pushrod to further strengthen the attachment. The aluminum shank rotates inside the nylon ball link head so you can turn the straight push rod that has a thread on the other end, thus changing the pushrod length somewhat similar to a turn buckle. Perfect for pushrods that are used to slave pull-pull rudder servos together.
